About the Book

Note: - I will be reviewing this book in the next few months as this book was sent to my Grandson Cole, he is only 11 and found the book a bit hard to get into, but said that his Sister Lilly - 7 was keen to read it with me.
So with me heading back to the UK in August ( The blog will be a bit quiet that month due to me being offline) We will read the book together.

Each book can be read as a standalone.

Mer-Charmer by Amy Bearce

*** Gifted in exchange for my honest review***
This is Book 2 in this series and it seemed a much more even pace and the world building and the action underwater had my imagination taking flight, I really wanted to grab my paintbrush and start to paint the images appearing in my mind. I've always loved the sea, swimming and the underwater city which was in ruins would be an image I would like to recreate.

Phoebe although she seemed not as Strong a main character as Sienna was in The Fairy Keeper, grew on me as she believed grew stronger in her belief in herself. Tristan was my favourite character, Mina too was a good secondary character.
The wraiths were very scary and the beast was a formidable evil entity... The scene where Phoebe finally confronts the beast was a very good twist, I really enjoyed how the final battle ended, although I felt sorry that Phoebe had to sacrifice as much as she did.
The book once again gives a good message to its readers, about not giving up, sticking to your principles and that courage comes in all forms, shapes and sizes.

I look forward to book 3 and finding out about Nell's adventure.
I would recommend this series for tweens teens and all fantasy readers who wish to never loose their inner child.
