I've said before on other books in this series, that I love Jasper Creek, the characters, especially little a grandma... I had a little Nana who was pretty much her description, but she died when I was younger.

I have a mother in law who is exactly what little grandma is like and I hope she lives into her centenary years 🙏.

so into the actual book characters, Ford and Ruby 😍

Ruby's past was something that was touched on at the beginning, but as the story developed, we understand that there is more to her story, her growth once she moved to Jasper Creek was organic, I liked the way Ms O'Leary introduced the characters from the town ( and other books) to help Ruby heal and grow... it takes a village... 😍🫂.

when she finally allowed Ford to court her, it was just beautiful ❤️.

the story was just a pleasure to read, the story gets more suspenseful as the past is revealed, with the team at Onyx Security coming to help too.

overall a wonderful small town romance with Ms O'Leary bringing the suspense and action as per her other excellent books.

I'm quite sad that I finished the Book, but another one is out soon... 🤩.
