This was a quick but great read. And to give you a fair warning, cliffhangers are apparent in this as well!
Melissa knew for awhile that her marriage was going down the drain, but what does every mom do? Look at what she believes is best for her child. However, you can only keep that in your head for so long, especially when you overhear a conversation between your husband and someone else, with them working on a plan of getting rid of you.
Here comes in Chase (Ex Navy-Seal), Melissa’s divorce attorney’s brother, to help protect her and her son.
What is bound to happen when two people are around each other for a long period of time, especially when attraction is there?
Even with the constant running, hiding, and checking over your shoulder, there is bound to be some kind of intimacy. Are things possibly get stronger between the two or is the only thing bringing them together is the rush of adrenaline?
Despite this being a quick read, it was very well written. It was very hard to put down, it really kept you on your toes with what was going to happen next. This is filled with action, love, and suspense. I highly recommend this book.
