Lori inherited a mansion from a lady she met and helped once in her cafe, her life was in tatters, so she left it all behind to go find out how, Sell up and sort out her life back home?

But the mansion came with extra baggage 😉

This is the first book I read from this author, and I will be reading the second instalment...

Yes it ended in a cliff hanger 😭.

But don't let that put you off, this was a light fun read, I didn't put it down.

The writing flowed, the characters draw you into the dilemma that Lori has to face, as well as the attraction towards each other.

Patrick grew on me eventually.

There's a lot of unanswered questions that I imagine book 2 will reveal.

But overall I recommend reading the book, hopefully book 2 will be out soon 🙏
