Review

Just One More BreathJust One More Breath by Leigha Lewis
Jenni's Rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am giving this review on behalf of Katsindiebookblog. This is definitely an ugly cry book. As a wife and mother, it grabbed me immediately. Nicole married her H.S. sweet heart, had a kid, and was living the dream. One day her husband basically through his hands up and says he can’t do the marriage anymore. After being strong and doing everything she can for her and her son, visitation starts with their son. First day, first couple of hours, she gets an emergency phone call to go to the hospital.

**Now grab your tissues**

Her baby boy dies and she is now officially left with nothing. Can she pull herself out of her hole and continue with her life? Or will the smallest things set her off? Nicole’s best friend Zena does everything she can to help her out, even gets her to go back to work to at least forget anything for those few hours a day. At a back to work party for Nicole, her old college buddy Shawn comes. Shawn is a divorce attorney who doesn’t believe in love. He’s had his share of cases that leads him away from it. He is WELL known as the player. Shawn and Nicole have always been great friends. He steps up some to help Nicole out with her emotions. Something seems to change between the 2, not just their normal friendship. Can Nicole trust in herself to let go of her pain and past to move forward and possibly love again? Can Shawn step away from what he sees at work and possibly find the impossible true love? This was a great debut novel from Leigha. Nothing was left out of this book. Any and all details were put in here at the right moments. I can’t wait to read future novels by this author!
